Global Wildlife Center

Yesterday we went to Folsom, Louisiana. We went to the global wildlife center and got to feed lots of animals like zebra, lots of deer, camels, and a few more. I took all these pictures with my iPod, I told Mom and Dad that my new hobby was photography! I thought these were pretty good:

Hey y’all! hope your holidays were spectacular! I had such a great time! for those of you who haven’t heard my big news: I quit gym last week! I won’t go into reasons why. I’ll just say, I got burnt out on it and God wanted me to do something else. We joined the Y in petal earlier this week. the only class I’ve done is cardio pump. neither me or my mom could move at all yesterday morning. I went back yesterday afternoon and ran on the elliptical and did some other exercises. I couldn’t take another class! We really haven’t been up to much since Christmas. My friends family had big firework display on new year’s eve. That’s really all we have done. we started a little bit of school this week. I’ll show y’all some pictures of us over the past few months:

Merry Christmas y’all! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I have so far! Our church still has service tomorrow so my dad decided to let us open presents today! I got some awesome stuff! My favorite thing is my new iPod! I am actually blogging from it right now! Ally got a cool microscope. And TJ got an Xbox kinect! It’s really cool! I hope y’all have a happy holiday!

The Past Few Weeks

Hey guys! These past few weeks have been…I don’t know how to describe it. Partly fun, partly horrible…BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! It’s been like that since about 6 weeks ago. My parents went to the beach for their 15th wedding anniversary which was fun for all of us! The next week we went to the beach (courtesy of Gammie and family… Love y’all!) Then all was well for about a week. Most of you know our dog Jake. He’s really old…12 and a half. He had MAJOR health problems which…I have no understanding of. So dad took him to the doc. to see what we could do. Later that day, dad came home early from work (along with the news that he had mono). I had no clue why he was home so early. As soon as he came inside Ally screamed, “Where is Jake?” There was no answer. “WHERE IS JAKE?”She repeated. Then she came to my room and said dad wanted to talk to us. He said, “The doctor said that Jake isn’t really going to get any better…you know, since it’s so hot and all. And”- “they put him down…didn’t they?”Ally interrupted. “Um…yeah… they did.” Said Dad. After that our house was a place of sorrow for a couple of hours. And I think all of our bodies have run out of tears! Then, they buried him. Then we went like…to wal-mart or something. And when we got home Dad’s truck wasn’t there! He was supposed to be resting trying to get rid of his mono. “Where’s daddy?”TJ asked. “Um…He is…at… (Mom knew we’d had enough sorrow for the day)Paw Rue (dad’s dad) is having heart problems… and he’s in intensive care in the hospital.” she blurted out. We all moaned…how could it get any worse?!? Then lots of little things happened which I won’t mention. So that’s the past few weeks. I’ve had a lot of gym practice lately. And I thought everything was back to normal again! Last night I had a headache and a head that felt like it weighed 100 pounds! And today I feel worse… we think I have mono from dad. Poor me! Well, here’s a picture of Jake when he was little. J I’ll probably do another post in a few weeks. Adios!

Finally Blogging Again!

Hey everyone!!! I know it’s been forever since I’ve written a post. So this one will probably be pretty long. Because, lots of things have happened since I wrote a post last. I’ve had some friends ask me to start blogging again and I told them I would. Here is a list of the things that have happened since I blogged last:

The Hodge family (the one that I talked about in the last post) they moved!!! To Tennessee!!! I miss them SO BAD! You have no idea.
We moved! Nowhere too far away…just good ‘ole petal.
I turned 10 (I’m ALMOST 11)
We’ve had some new neighbors move in. I actually have someone to play with!
I got a sewing machine! My neighbor and I are planning to start a sewing business… we’re getting there J
No big vacations really…the beach…Tennessee (visiting Hodges)…and Texas visiting family…I guess that’s all the vacations
I switched gyms. I now go to planet gymnastics. I love it there! I’ve got the best coaches and teammates in the world!

I’m thinking that’s just about all…if I think of more I’ll post them. Here are pictures from activities and stuff from recently.

Hodgepodge Adoption

As some of you probably know, my friend Landry and her family have gone to Africa to adopt 2 children.(One is a boy that is 3 and- a-half.One is a girl that is 4.)The girl (Juliet) has recently gotten sick with malaria. Please pray that she will get better soon.Also pray that the judge will see their case and give them custody.

Guess what we found in our yard. 20 baby frogs ! The one in the picture is named Brown Eyes.
